Pray for Promise

For those of you who don’t know the name, Promise Tangeman-Wurzell is the ridiculously talented wife of our Worship Director Brian Wurzell (check out her work here). Promise is heading in today for surgery to remove a portion of her thyroid, and to see if there are deeper issues than what they have already found. Since Brian has already done an amazing job of explaining everything on Promise’s blog, I will simply direct you there for more information, but I will ask this: Please take a moment to stop what you are doing today and pray for this wonderful couple. Pray for Promise’s healing, safety, and comfort, and pray for Brian to remain strong through this scary time as well. She goes in for the procedure at noon today, so please make it a point to keep her in mind and to unite with us in prayer at that time for her as she goes into surgery.
