Album of the Month: Jesus Culture – Your Love Never Fails

Most of you have probably heard of Jesus Culture by now, their songs are everywhere in contemporary churches. They bring a level of passion to their songs that is hard to match. Born of a youth movement at Bethel Church in Redding, California, Chris Quilala, Kim Walker-Smith and Melissa How’s talent and passion helped grow the movement to something much larger than a local gathering. They have released several albums, that are a mix of original songs and their own versions of existing tracks. June’s Album of the Month is Your Love Never Fails, their third album. This 2008 Live recording is my favorite collection of their songs, the title track of which we have done several times at Cornerstone. The track I wanted to highlight is the Chris Quilala and Kim Walker-Smith led You Won’t Relent. If you haven’t heard this song, you are missing out! In fact, our own Ryan Axtell and Audrey Assad co-led this song for us at Cornerstone before.
