What Are You Listening To?

ListeningTo

Since this is a music blog, I thought it would be a cool feature to start finding out what people in our community are listening to. What CD do you blast in your car? What album do you keep going back to on your iPod? The best thing about music is that there is always just the right song to fit your mood. In the future, I’d like to get input from our team and [...]

Worship Talk – Success

WorshipTalks

Recently I’ve been thinking about what makes for a ‘Successful’ morning as part of a worship ministry. We’ve had a few mornings in the past few weeks, where technically, we had a rough time. Luckily, we are not the only worship ministry who has rough mornings, and thanks to the magic of social networking, we all know about it before the congregation may have even figured it out . Still, in these mornings where we [...]

Artist Spotlight: Gatlin Elms

WAHeader

I have recently become aware of a great band called Gatlin Elms (named after their frontman). One of my favorite artists, Robbie Seay, posted a link to their newest album, Carry Me Home, and I am loving it! Great writing, and great melodic songs. They strike me as almost a mix between the Robbie Seay Band and  Sleeping at Last. If you like either of those artists you should definitely check out Gatlin Elms. The [...]
