SongSpotlight

Hillsong United has released a new album this past week entitled Aftermath. The title track from that album, written by Joel Houston and lead by Marty Sampson, is one of the most poignant songs on the album. The song is about finding freedom in the Sacrifice that Christ made for us. The lyrics are found below, along with links to pick up the album on Amazon and iTunes. Kory_01-Thumb

It’s time once again for our Volunteer Highlight feature. When I first joined the Worship Arts Team there were some big shoes to fill joining Kory as one of the few male Vocalists. Kory is an awesome singer who always seems to add just the right harmonies to a song to make it sound full. Kory is a member of our team that just returned from mission in India. Get to know Kory a bit [...]

Song Spotlight – Phil Wickham – True Love

SongSpotlight

This song is one that we have played a few times before at Cornerstone, and for my money, I don’t think there has been a more beautiful interpretation of Jesus’ sacrifice for us put to music. We are playing this song on this coming Sunday, and I’ve spent quite a bit of time simply dwelling in the lyrics and the moment. I hope this song blesses you as it does me! Come close listen to [...]
